Heb 3:1 (ISV) Therefore, holy brothers, partners in a heavenly calling, keep your focus on Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession.

We have been called holy brethren, this holiness and purity comes from the Holy One - Jesus. He has given us an invitation to share with Him in what was accomplished at the cross of Calvary. This confession is an acknowledgement of all that is ours in Jesus. Confession is affirming or acknowledging something that you believe. It is testifying of something that you know. It is witnessing of a truth which you embrace. Sometimes we may confess to get our hearts persuaded of a truth and other times there is a confession of something that we are persuaded of.

Either way, life and death are in the power of the tongue so let's use our confession wisely. Many people admire the truths of Gods Word or agree with truths in Gods Word but are hesitant to confess and speak the truths of Gods Word. Let us confess who we are in Jesus, what we have in Jesus and what we can do in Jesus. His Word will never return void so confess and speak Gods Word with courage, boldness and authority, You are who He says you are, you can do what He says you can do and you have what He says you have!
