Gal 5:6 (ISV) For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision matters. What matters is faith that is active through love.

All personal breakthroughs come through a change in beliefs. Too often we try and change our circumstances by focusing on the external instead of the internal. The way to affect change in my circumstances and the external is to focus on who I am and what I have in Jesus. In this verse it states that the external, be it circumcision or uncircumcision does not matter. What matters is my faith or persuasion working through love. When I see who God really is, a God who is possessed with an unrelenting, unwavering, passionate, extravagant and unconditional love for me, faith becomes active. It is ignited within me, like a match being struck causing me to see who and what I have in Jesus. I will attract who I believe I am and not what I necessarily want. There are many who are poor in this world that want many things, but never receive them as they believe they are poor. When we make the choice to believe we are blessed and righteous in Jesus we will walk in an active, fruitful and effectual faith, knowing God is who He says He is and I am who He says I am.
