The Lord is faithful! To be faithful means to be trustworthy, dependable, reliable and honest. Some people’s character can be questioned but the Lord’s character never has to be questioned, as He is trustworthy. He shall, not maybe or sometimes, but shall, establish you, keep and guard you from evil. The word evil means full of labours, annoyances, hardships or that which will be hurtful. Our Father and Lord is never the source of pain, hardship or anything that will hurt you. Many have said that He will build character in you by causing difficulties and hardships to see what you are made of...My bible says He is my Comforter, Helper and Friend, nowhere does our Father describe Himself as our character builder. Put your trust and confidence in Him, He is the one Person who will guard you from hurt and pain, He loves you. |
