The word bless in this verse is the Hebrew word bâ rak which means to kneel down and bless, to speak of greatness, adoration and abundance. Wow, that your Lord and God would kneel before you and speak a blessing of greatness, adoration and abundance! God spoke this blessing on Adam and He has not changed His mind, He has not taken that blessing back. His view and opinion is still the same, He has blessed you! This verse goes on to say that you are covered with favour as with a shield. What are you focussing on, your lack, inability, fear and circumstances or on His blessing, favour and abundance? Make the right choice and receive the blessing of your Father. |
