ISAIAH
54:14		 You shall establish yourself in righteousness (rightness, in conformity with God’s will and order): you shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you.

What an awesome scripture… Our responsibility is to establish ourselves in the righteousness that has been given to us by Jesus. We are right with God and have a right to all He has given to us by the work Jesus accomplished through His death, burial and resurrection. We are to be established in conformity to His will and order. His will and order is His New Testament. God’s will is His Testament which has been settled by His blood and can never be changed.

When we are established according to the New Testament and believe in His righteousness, the very thought of oppression will be far from us as we know that oppression was taken from us at the cross and it shall not come near. We must never associate any form of oppression, destruction, fear or terror in our lives with God, His Son experienced all of that for us that we might never have to. Establish yourself in the righteousness that comes by faith in Jesus and you will be firm, immovable and steadfast. He is your righteousness and His will and testament declares He is for you, with you and in you.
