Heb 4:9-11
(JB Phillips)
There still exists, therefore, a full and complete rest for the people of
God. And he who experiences His rest is resting from his own work as fully as God from His. Let us then be eager to know this rest for ourselves.

There is a place of complete rest for our souls in Jesus. Life with its pressures and demands keeps us in busy mode and we will feel stressed and anxious and need to be reminded to cease from our works and rest in the finished work of Jesus. Resting in the integrity of His Word will help you let go of anxiety, stress, cares and the pressures of life. This resting in Him has to be a conscious effort or we will feel the pressures that life will bring, too often we forget that our Father by His Spirit is in us, for us and with us. We can take a deep breath and relax in the confidence of His Word. Experiencing the love of our Father and trusting that what He has promised He will do, is what will keep you in a place of rest. Get to know this rest, your Father loves and cares for you and His Word will never fail you.
