2Th 2:16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, who has loved us and has given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
2Th 2:17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.

There are so many wonderful things to see in this verse of scripture. Firstly, that Jesus Christ Himself and our Heavenly Father love us. We are loved with an unconditional, uncompromising, unequivocal, eternal and outrageous love. You ARE the one whom Jesus loves! Secondly, we have an eternal consolation or comfort and a good hope, a good, confident expectation of good through grace, through a divine influence and gift from Him. He comforts and exhorts your heart and will establish and confirm you in every good word and work. It’s a joy knowing we are loved, comforted and confirmed by our Father and Jesus. Whatever you may be going through today, know that God believes in you, sees the best in you and is your comfort and strength. Trust in His grace and have a good, confident expectation of good things because of His love for you.
