Open Air Gospel Crusades
Mark 1:38 Jesus said to them, "Let's go somewhere else, to the small towns that are nearby. I have to spread the Good News in them also. This is why I have come." (GW)
Life World Outreach has the same heart that Jesus had in this scripture. Our vision is to go into the squatter camps and informal settlements in South Africa and neighboring countries spreading the Good News. These places are often neglected because of the fear associated with going into them; we want to reach people where others are afraid to go and where people have not heard the gospel.

Preaching the Good News
At each crusade the people are exposed to the good news and the finished work of Christ.
We believe the Word is anointed and we will see the fruit of it as spoken about in Luke 4:18,19
“ God's Spirit is on me; he's chosen me to preach the Message of good news to the poor, Sent me to announce pardon to prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, To set the burdened and battered free, to announce, "This is God's year to act!" (MSG)
 We believe that every person must be born again. Jesus paid the ultimate price in becoming our sin, taking God’s punishment for sin and dying a painful death. He was then raised in righteousness by the power of the Holy Spirit. He offers this free gift of eternal life and righteousness to all who believe in Him.
We believe Jesus suffered a broken body that we might be healed and pray for the sick allowing Christ the Healer to touch and heal broken bodies.
We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit and pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit for every person desiring his infilling.
Effective Tools
Life World Outreach’s aim is to use effective and relevant tools in attracting the lost. Every night multi media is used to communicate the gospel, dynamic bands and guest musicians are used to draw the crowds. We use movies like “The Passion of Christ” to give people a visual demonstration of what Jesus did for them.
Children’s Crusade
Luke 18:16 Jesus called them back. "Let these children alone. Don't get between them and me. These children are the kingdom's pride and joy. (MSG)
Every afternoon of the crusade a children’s crusade is held where children learn relevant Bible stories, memory verses, games and activities. The children get the good news on their level and get an opportunity to decide to follow Jesus at their age.
The statistics have shown that children giving their lives to Jesus have a higher percentage of staying with Him than if they decide as an adult.
Follow up
Working with the local pastors we get a written follow up form of those giving their lives to Christ and where they come from. Every new believer gets a “Welcome to the Family” booklet explaining to them what decision they have just taken. We teach the local body of Christ how to do door to door follow up and reach their community. We encourage the people to get involved with their local churches and introduce them to the pastors from the platform.
Discipleship
We go back into the community and do a 6-week foundations course, explaining the basics of who they are in Christ and the finished work of Jesus. We encourage all new believers to take part and they all receive a certificate on completion of the course.
Outreaches
We travel to places that have never heard the gospel or name of Jesus. Often it means traveling for days on end on roads that are extremely bad or non existent. Mini-crusades are held and churches are planted once we leave. A pastor is placed in the area and yearly follow up is done to strengthen and encourage the believers.
Fun Stuff
We host soccer tournaments in different communities with the “goal” of reaching that community. Every player receives a T-shirt and cap and there is prize money for the winning teams. At the prize giving ceremony we preach the gospel and win players and spectators to Jesus.
Itinerant Ministry
Our vision is to go into every nation preaching, teaching and demonstrating the unconditional love of God. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and desire to see God touch and change people by His grace. We have been bought with a price and our dignity and worth has been restored and as we encourage believers in their identity in Christ they are edified for good works.
Love Conferences
There is nothing we can do to change the way God feels about us, His love for us is what touches and changes us. We travel to churches teaching and preaching the dynamics of Gods love. These conferences remind us of our First Love, He is the One who loved us first and as we believe it we love Him back. We minister inter-denominationally in towns and communities, encouraging pastors and equipping the saints in an environment of God’s love and acceptance.

Meet the Team
Life World Outreach is a team of dedicated ministers of the gospel with a heart for reaching people with His unconditional love.
Didymus Mareyanadzo
Didymus Mareyenadzo is a bible school graduate from Zimbabwe. He is our Crusade Director and Worship leader. He organizes the crusades, gets permission letters, trains ushers, counselors and intercessors and leads the music on crusade.
Matt Brewer
Matt Brewer is from the United States and is our Crusade Manager. He uses JJ the puppet to lead hundreds of children to Jesus in the schools in the area of the crusade. He does the children's crusade and is responsible for the setup, sound, lighting and crusade equipment.
Joseph Shereni
Joseph Shereni is from Gweru in Zimbabwe and is our keyboardist. His responsibilities include the sound, music and musicians, and he is also responsible for the advertising of the crusade and puts up posters and hands out the handbills. All our staff are hands on and do whatever it takes to share the load and get the job done, and Joseph is no exception. |
